Merry Christmas 2012!   

IMAN....

 The first day of PA deer season, and his first *ever* deer!  He got a 5 point buck, and has joined the realm of tale tellers :-)  We are very proud of him!

 This is 2 of a zillion photos taken from Isaacs campout at Gettysburg...They had a fabulous time, and I *think* he walked almost 20 miles!  He earned some very cool patches for this particular trip.  I would love to go see the sights myself.  It makes me happy to see him able to experience things like this--scouts is a great thing for him!

I was able to get a couple of good shots .  Asher was a difficult one...plus he had drawn on his face with marker by accident.

I thought this was a cute one of Eli and Cory.  I was trying to just get one of Cory when Eli jumped in.

Esther took the photo of Cory and I...I think she did quite well!

I really missed out on all the red and orange leaves...but these will do anyhow.  I always have to take a million just to get *one* good one!

These were fun to do...It always makes me happy to capture their smiles.

 

 

STUFF...OCT 2012

There are too few pictures of Cory and I together for my liking. 

This shot made me laugh...the looks on both of their faces are humorous.  HA!

The eyes I always dreamed of...belong to my daughter.  *sigh*...I suppose if they belonged to me ..I wouldn't be able to gaze at them.

OCTOBER 2012~ MISC...

 I really liked these shots of Asher.  He is such a sweet little guy.  He is growing up far too fast for my liking.

 

He says he is 2nd Class....I always thought he was 1st Class...har har.  Well done Isaac.  He is very proud to have earned the Year Round Camping Award.  He had a good many merit badges earned as well--diligence pays off! 

 

MISC. STUFF..........

I made this blanket for a friend of ours who just had a baby.  I think it turned out really nice.  She had a girl...but I love blue..and lets face it....she will have lots of pink..not so much blue I imagine.  The stitch is a basket weave....so easy!

 

Here are partners in crime...or at the least in a boat.

These are some photos of the new addition to the cottage.  The door used to be right where the start of the opening begins.  Now it is all opened up and you just would not believe the room it affords.  It turned out so nice!!

I posted lots of photos to update my blog....I don't think I will ever really "get" how to put them in the right order..HA!  Everything sort of reads backwards!  I am sure you all are smart enough to figure it out and look past by blogging mistakes! 

It has been a busy month, and I wish I had more time to spend blogging, and looking at everyone elses blogs too!  I am sorry if I have not commented on your blogs, I hope to change that in the near future!

Summer is drawing to a close...every time I see a Hibiscus plant that has flowered...it is bittersweet.  To me, it signals the ending of summer...I wish it was just a little longer! 

Thanks for enduring all of my flaws!  He He He!

It really is a beautiful place to be...

Sometimes the rocks are slippery though....so be careful, or you may fall and be thoroughly soaked :-)  Don't cry...you will dry off!

A good portion of their trails are "wooded" (?) or planked I guess.  Someone went to the trouble to make it accessible to many.  They have more rustic trails too.

We decided to take the kids for a hike at Salt Springs.  We had a lot of fun, and were happy to spend time together.

 You would think that sending him out into the sprinkler would yield better results.  This guy was caked in mud!
