MISC. STUFF..........

I made this blanket for a friend of ours who just had a baby.  I think it turned out really nice.  She had a girl...but I love blue..and lets face it....she will have lots of pink..not so much blue I imagine.  The stitch is a basket weave....so easy!

Here are partners in crime...or at the least in a boat.

These are some photos of the new addition to the cottage.  The door used to be right where the start of the opening begins.  Now it is all opened up and you just would not believe the room it affords.  It turned out so nice!!

I AM FOREVER FLAWED!

I posted lots of photos to update my blog....I don't think I will ever really "get" how to put them in the right order..HA!  Everything sort of reads backwards!  I am sure you all are smart enough to figure it out and look past by blogging mistakes!

It has been a busy month, and I wish I had more time to spend blogging, and looking at everyone elses blogs too!  I am sorry if I have not commented on your blogs, I hope to change that in the near future!

Summer is drawing to a close...every time I see a Hibiscus plant that has flowered...it is bittersweet.  To me, it signals the ending of summer...I wish it was just a little longer!

Thanks for enduring all of my flaws!  He He He!

SALT SPRINGS 2012...STILL CONT'D!..

It really is a beautiful place to be...

Did I say it was beautiful?

Sometimes the rocks are slippery though....so be careful, or you may fall and be thoroughly soaked :-)  Don't cry...you will dry off!

SALT SPRINGS 2012 CONT'D...

A good portion of their trails are "wooded" (?) or planked I guess.  Someone went to the trouble to make it accessible to many.  They have more rustic trails too.

We decided to take the kids for a hike at Salt Springs.  We had a lot of fun, and were happy to spend time together.

MISC. JULY 2012...

You would think that sending him out into the sprinkler would yield better results.  This guy was caked in mud!

Happy 37th Birthday Cory!

A proud Father!

VISITING FAMILY IN OHIO....

Posted by PicasaWe were able to visit Corys family in Ohio this summer.  We went to an Ecological center where we went hiking/exploring.  It was fun!

SO VERY LOVED...AND PROUD OF THIS GUY!

Posted by PicasaWe are so thankful to Cory for his hard work, and diligence!  He has successfully passed his comprehensive exams, and is enrolled to start his dissertation near the end of this month!  He started in 2010, and hopes to be done by the end of 2013!  It has been so long, so little sleep, and a lot of give and take...and I am so proud of him--he is an amazing man!
