Bat Removal Project Update...

There is paint going up on some of the walls! I am very excited! It looks like they might be finished by Wednesday! This is awesome, because I need to get the house back in order before school starts! The bat guys left for lunch and I just couldn't help myself...I went to take a peek...and they are doing such a great job! They have the far room done, except for the trim. I have chosen 3 colors...The back room is frontier yellow or colonial yellow...something like that...it is soft and buttery. Then the hall and the stairs is called lambswool...and Isaacs room is called Hydrangea....trust me it will look very cool. Anyhow...I am sure I will have more to follow soon. Hooray!

HEY LOOK...NEW POSTS...AND PICTURES TOO!!

Hi everyone. Here are some new pictures to share. Asher is growing so fast...I still don't know who I think he looks like. I recently looked at my own baby pictures and they looked very much alike...but really...who can tell that young? Our house is still torn apart...I cant wait to put it back together! Our family also enjoyed the fair this week...I tried to get some good shots.

Cory has started Football camp. He coaches the 7th grade team...so this camp is required. This morning he went out with one of his buddies to go fishing...they did quite well. He has another trip that he planned a while ago coming up this week too...Summer is coming to a close for him. While he stayed busy with his side jobs...he still had a nice summer...especially the fact that he gained a brand new son!

I hope you all are having fun this week...enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!

BAT REMOVAL PROJECT UPDATE...

Well...the drywall is up...taped...and they have been sanding..mudding...sanding some more. The poor guys come out looking like ghosts...the only thing not covered in dust is their eyes. These pictures are the most recent...but they have made progress since then. I asked Cory if he felt like we were on a reality tv show...these guys show up in the morning...and dont leave all day long...this has been going on for about a month...they work sooo hard in all of that heat. I think it will be done next week sometime though!!!!

A FEW SURVIVORS...

These are just a few of the sunflowers that the kids and I planted...I was sooo proud to start them from seeds...and then transplant them in the pouring down rain...laughing like a kid...all of us did. They were over 12 in. when the skunks came...and day after day ...right down the row they worked...until we had only about 3 or 4 left. I am glad I got to see some of them. I had planned to have a hedge of them on the side of the house...Esther went to see them today and was SOOO excited..as was I. Oh well...better luck next time:)

A DAY AT THE FAIR...

RIDES!!!

This was Elis first trip down the fun slide. It is tradition that Cory always takes the littles down these slides...only not this time...the guy running the ride would not let Cory take him down...so ...I thought that Isaac was going to take Eli down...I could've killed Cory...he assured me he would be fine...he was...and Cory...is still alive.

MORE RIDES!

ANIMALS!!!....

This is a special horse. It is Esthers 1st grade teachers horse. Her daughter was showing this quarter horse at the fair.

MORE ANIMALS...

ASHER...1 MONTH OLD (YOUNG)..

GOOD MORNING/AFTERNOON

Hi everyone! Guess what? Dry wall is going up as we speak....hooray!!!! Yesterday we went to Cliff and Chris' house. The kids were meeting Ella for the first time...and they heartily approved! Ella is quite beautiful, and has a sweet personality...smiling at her uncle. The kids were able to swim for a time before the weather got too rainy-much to their delight. The size difference between Ella and Asher was an amazement to the kids...even though they are used to seeing 9lb babies. I hope everyone has a fabulous week...there is always sooo much to do here. As soon as we can get our home put back together I plan to have a game night to visit with friends...be sure to let me know if you are interested in coming!
