I had grand plans of making my niece Ella a handmade gift for Easter...I didn't think I would get it done. In fact...I had no idea what I was going to make. While I was out getting the last of the Easter supplies, I decided to get the material and pattern to make this cute little dress. Now I am not much of a sewer, but I was quite happy with the results of this. There are a few things I would do differently, but I am pleased none the less.

I have to admit...I wasn't sure how far off/on on size I was for Ella...so I had to try it on Asher. He wasn't happy--neither was Cory for that matter. (But he sure was cute...hehehehe.) Ella is a bit bigger than Asher...I think it will fit.
I got 2 yards of fabric since I liked the pattern so much. This was fun, and Im glad I did it. There is just something about homemade gifts...dont you think?
