I am quite sure it is a cheese. I saw it on a cooking show. It was the lady who does I talian cooking on PBS Saturday morning. It is very rich and also expensive- a white cheese I think. She made cakes filled and topped with fresh fruit and mascarpone. It might have been in the cake too, I don't remember. I have never had it. I would like to try it. You might have to go to a gourmet store for it. I have never seen it. But then I wasn't looking for it either. I just said I'd like to try it because you brought it up and I am hungry.
And the answer is....A Mascarpone is a sweet, creamy, Italian Cheese....I think Aunt Jane is the winner...She made reference to it being Italian and also in a cake...Good Job Aunt Jane! Mom and JJ you were both right too! Ive never had it either. Sorry Keith was WAY off:)
Keith likes your trivia idea on here. I wasn't even in the door tonight when he said "What's today's question?" I was like "What in the world are you talking about?" His short reply... "I thought maybe you checked your sister's blog at work." Funny huh.
